Our goal is Connecting Women to Reflect God's Love while promoting unity in the body of Christ.

Who We Are

Our Leadership Team

Strengthened by an advisory board of four local pastors, Mid-Valley Women of Christ’s core leadership team works diligently to seek the heart of God on behalf of women who live, work or worship in the Mid-Willamette Valley. All members of the team are committed to God, His church, and to prayer.

Following the August 2008 Beth Moore simulcast in Albany, Oregon, a number of women voiced their desire to be involved with each other in unity and harmony on a regular basis, not just limited to ‘one-time’ events. With a vision to see women from many churches coming together in worship, prayer and the study of God’s Word, three women with a passion, joined forces to create the organization now known as Mid-Valley Women of Christ. Their first effort towards reaching this goal was to offer an inter-denominational bible study for women on the book of Esther, a video series taught by nationally renowned bible teacher Beth Moore. The study attracted 200 women from 14 churches.  Their vision sprang to life and became a reality when community-wide bible studies began during the winter of 2009, targeting the needs of women in smaller churches without formal women’s ministry leaders or the funding for costly video bible studies.
